Frank Holland (born June 4, 1946), otherwise known as Jacob Holland, is an American businessman and libertarian political activist from Nebraska.[citation needed] He is best known for his seemingly erratic and truculent diatribes against left-leaning political figures on Twitter. He often engages in perpetual Twitter tirades with random users congenial to his sentiments, which often lead up to him shutting down his account for capricious amounts of time, before making a point of reactivating it, which has sparked off backlash against him before.[citation needed] His distinct and multifarious behavior online, as well as character, has garnered widespread acclaim from both sides of the political aisle, with many labeling him "the greatest troll of this generation". Despite his riveted infamy, Holland was wantonly suspended from twitter on April 16, 2017.[citation needed] The account was promptly restored and Twitter reportedly issued an apology, claiming that the suspension was only temporary.

He first came to national attention after a nude photograph of him appeared in various newspapers in 1971.[citation needed]
